Squad Builder

By default, players on the canvas are represented as numbered dots with no real identity. The Squad Builder lets you assign real names and jersey numbers to each dot, which then appear in the Names lens and throughout the application.

Opening the squad builder

1. Click Edit Squad in the formation toolbar, or right-click the canvas and choose Edit Squad.
2. The squad builder panel opens, listing all current players for the selected team.

Assigning names and numbers

1. Click a player row in the squad builder.
2. Type the player's name in the name field.
3. Enter the jersey number in the number field.
4. Press Enter or click another row to confirm.
5. Repeat for all players. Changes save automatically.

Applying to both teams

Use the Home / Away toggle at the top of the squad builder to switch between the two squads. Each team has its own independent squad.

Bench slots

The squad builder includes rows for bench players. Assign names and numbers to bench slots the same way as starting players. These assignments appear in the Bench panel and the sub ledger.

Tips

• Squad assignments are stored per-team and carry across all plays using that team.
• Player names appear in the Names lens when it is active.
• Jersey numbers appear when the Names lens is set to Number or Both mode.
