Overload
Draw an analysis zone on the pitch and count how many players from each team occupy it.
The Overload lens (also called Numerical Advantage) lets you draw a rectangular zone anywhere on the pitch and instantly see how many players from each team are inside it. Use it to identify overloads, underloads, and pressing traps in specific areas.
Activating the lens
- Open the Lenses panel and click the Overload tile, or press O.
- Click and drag on the pitch canvas to draw the analysis zone.
- Player counts appear as overlaid numbers inside the zone — home count on the left, away on the right.
Options
- Resize — drag the zone edges to adjust the area of interest.
- Move — drag the centre of the zone to reposition it.
- Reset — click the reset button in the lens tile to clear the zone.
Reading the output
If the home team has 4 players inside the zone and the away team has 2, the home team has a 2-player overload. An overload in the attacking third is a goal-scoring advantage; an overload in your own half is a vulnerability. During playback, the counts update in real time as players enter and leave the zone.
Available on all plans.
