Mobile Controls

On phones and small tablets, Tactix uses a condensed layout with a bottom action bar replacing the sidebars. All core features are accessible from this bar.

Bottom action bar

The bottom bar contains five quick-access zones:

1. Phases — swipe left/right to navigate phases, or tap to open the full phase list.
2. Play / Pause — tap to start or stop playback.
3. Lenses — tap to open the lens picker sheet.
4. Formations — tap to open the formation picker sheet.
5. More — access export, share, and settings.

Tap and hold the bar to drag it to a different edge of the screen (left, right, or bottom).

Touch controls

• Drag player — press and hold a player dot for 150 ms, then drag to move them.
• Long-press select — long-press on empty canvas space to enter multi-select mode. Drag to draw a selection box.
• Pinch to zoom — pinch on the canvas to zoom in or out.
• Two-finger pan — use two fingers to pan around the canvas when zoomed in.

Tips

• Zoom in before placing players precisely on small screens.
• The Undo button is accessible via a two-finger tap on the canvas when in edit mode.
• For extended sessions, use an iPad with a keyboard for full keyboard shortcut support. See Keyboard Shortcuts.
