Moving Players
How to draw player runs and straight passes on the canvas.
Drawing a run
Click and hold on a player, then drag along the path you want them to take. The path follows your cursor. Release to commit the movement.
The movement is drawn as a smooth curve — if you drag in an arc, the animation plays back as an arc. If you drag straight, it plays back straight.
Drawing a straight-line movement
Hold Shift while dragging a player to lock their movement to a perfectly straight line. The system snaps to either a horizontal or vertical axis based on the direction you drag first.
This is useful for:
- Drawing a direct pass without accidentally adding curve
- Showing a vertical run into the channel
- Creating sharp, readable tactical diagrams
Editing a movement
After drawing, you can fine-tune timing and shape in the Detail Timeline. Double-click a phase block in the timeline to open it.
Keyboard nudge
Select a player and use the arrow keys to nudge their position by 1px. Hold Shift + arrow to nudge by 10px.
