Lenses
Names
Display player names or jersey numbers as labels above each player dot on the canvas.
The Names lens overlays text labels on each player dot so you can identify individuals without memorising their position on the canvas. Labels update in real time as players move.
Activating the lens
- Open the Lenses panel in the sidebar.
- Click the Names tile.
- Choose a display mode from the Mode control.
Display modes
- Name — shows the player's full name (requires squad assignment).
- Number — shows the jersey number (requires squad assignment).
- Both — shows number and name together.
- Position — shows the tactical position abbreviation (e.g. CB, ST) when no squad is assigned.
Assigning names and numbers
Labels pull from the squad assigned via Edit Squad in the formation panel. If no squad is assigned, the lens falls back to position abbreviations. See Squad Builder for setup instructions.
Tips
- Use this lens when presenting to players who need to identify themselves on the canvas.
- Combine with the Spacing lens to show both names and inter-player distances simultaneously.
